Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Samuel Chang graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Video in 2025.

With a passion for Action, Comedy, and Drama narratives, Chang strives to create works that make audiences laugh, tug at their emotions, and above all, entertain.

Chang’s solo and collaborative works have screened internationally, including at the IASAS Film Category in Southeast Asia, Independent Shorts Awards in Los Angeles, New York Film & Cinematography Awards, and the RED Movie Awards in Reims, France.

He is currently back in Taipei, continuing to explore and expand his practice in filmmaking.
